This is my second Deviation and it continiues on the first, this is basicly a tutoral on how I build my saber and how to recreate it.
I hope it is helpfull and if people are gonna build sabers with the help from this tutorial I would enjoy seeing the end results.
*Edit* I made a small edit, adding a flowchart for the electronics, this might make it a bit clearer. The way the flowchart shows it makes the LED's go on when the switch s in the up position
I think a few more pictures would help explain for those people (like me) who are electronic-idiots, but I have a feeling if I show this to my fiance, he could figure it out!~
Do you have any recommended sources for where to buy misc stuff, like the LED's and electronic pieces?
Now, to find the time to play around... Thank you for making this tutorial!

I can't really recommend a place for the the electronics, cause I don't know what kind of stores you have over there. but I recon you can get them at you local parts store and if they don't have it they can ussualy tell you where to find them.
I added a electronics flowchart to the tutorial so you can see how it should be connected in the end.

i kn ow this is late, and you might have found the answer you're looking for, but try heading down to a local Radioshack for the parts. they carry all kinds of various LEDs, soldering equipment, and batterypacks!
Actually, that is perfect timing! I had to start planning my finals for a class this semester, and I wanted to work with LED's, but everything on the internet was just a little overwhelming! I'm going there tonight to take a look~ thank you!!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
